A Timeline of Polamer Precision
The Beginning of Polamer
Polamer Precision was founded in 1997 by Chris Galik (President), and Andy Dulnik (Vice President). It all started with a vision, determination and 2,000 square feet of manufacturing space. Polamer only consisted of a couple machines and a few employees in these early days.
Expansion Begins
Expansion of the company begins with the addition of equipment, machining capabilities, and employees. The available manufacturing space increases to 12,000 square feet and the employee count reaches 12 people. This expansion kick starts Polamer to what it has become today and where it is going in the future.
New Facility Added
In September of 2009 another facility was added with an additional 21,000 square feet of manufacturing space, giving us a total of 33,000 square feet. Employee count reaches 25 as capacities continue to increase. New machinery continued to be purchased and installed to meet growing customer requirements.
Lean Manufacturing Efforts
Efforts begin to transform Polamer into a world class manufacturing facility for the 21st Century, utilizing LEAN manufacturing principles. These efforts have been strong and continuous since as we make our way to reaching UTC Supplier Gold status.
Expansion Continues
Expansion continues as Polamer purchases new machines and strengthens its workforce with additional highly qualified employees. Plans for a new 21st century World Headquarters, 150,000 sq ft in size, becomes a progressive reality.
A World Class Manufacturing Firm
Efforts to transform Polamer into a world class manufacturing facility for the 21st Century has yielded much success. Utilizing a revolutionary ERP software to manage every aspect of the industry through cloud computing, we are able to run as Lean as possible at an exceptional quality standard.
